How it works

- Step 2
We review your profile
We look at your content and reply by email within 5 working days. Once approved, you receive your referral link and your personal code.

You share
Video, story, description, bio, article, Discord: put your link wherever you like. On the web and on Android, your link fills in your code by itself. On iPhone, the App Store strips the install source: tell your audience to enter your code by hand in the app, within 7 days of creating their account.

You invoice, we pay
Each month you receive a breakdown of eligible net revenue and your 20% commission. Send us your invoice and we transfer the amount within 30 days.

Illustrative calculation: gross price divided by 1.20 to remove 20% VAT, then distribution fees are deducted — 15% on the App Store and Google Play, 3% on the web through Stripe — followed by your 20% affiliate commission. The VAT used here is France's; Apple and Google apply the subscriber's own country rate, which shifts the base from one market to another. Refunds and chargebacks are excluded.
Who can join
The programme is open to every creator, whatever the size of their audience, but a few requirements are non-negotiable.
What you need
- A registered company or sole trader status, so you can invoice us (mandatory)
- To be of legal age
- A genuine audience on at least one channel: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, X, Discord, a blog or a newsletter
- Content related to the Pokémon TCG: openings, guides, card values, news, gradings…
- A bank account in your business's name to receive the transfer
What we turn down
- Fake accounts, bots and automatically generated sign-ups
- Spam, mass commenting and unsolicited direct messages
- Misleading claims about what the app does or about making money
- Bought traffic and ads bidding on the “PokéItem” brand name
- Coupon and cashback sites, and adult content
Why a registered business is mandatory
We pay affiliates by bank transfer against an invoice. That is what makes the payment lawful and traceable on both sides: we cannot pay a private individual with no registered business.
In France, sole trader (micro-entreprise) status is more than enough: registration is free, entirely online and takes about ten minutes on the URSSAF website.
Programme rules
Everything is spelled out up front, so there are no surprises at payment time.
What earns commission
A paid PokéItem subscription purchased by a user attributed to your link or code. While the subscription remains active and the programme continues, eligible payments and renewals earn commission. Free trials alone and Lifetime access are not commissionable.
Attribution: 30 days for the link, 7 days for the code
A visitor who clicks your link is attributed to you for 30 days. A code entered by hand, on the other hand, must be entered within 7 days of the account being created — after that the server refuses it. Once attribution is set, that user's eligible paid subscriptions are yours.
€20 payout threshold
Below €20 for the month, the balance rolls over to the next month. Nothing is lost, it simply accumulates.
Paid monthly against an invoice
A statement showing net revenue and your 20% commission is sent at the start of each month. You issue your invoice and we make the SEPA transfer within 30 days. Any VAT on your invoice depends on your tax status.
Zero tolerance for fraud
Fake accounts, bots, misleading claims or self-referrals: the earnings involved are cancelled and the affiliate account closed without notice.
You stay free
No exclusivity, no quota, no minimum commitment. You can stop whenever you like; so can we, with notice and after settling whatever we owe you.

Frequently asked questions
Do I really need a registered business?
Yes. We pay by bank transfer against an invoice, which requires a structure able to issue one. In France, micro-entreprise status is enough: registration is free, online and takes about ten minutes on the URSSAF website.
How many followers do I need?
There is no threshold. We look at the quality and consistency of your content rather than follower counts: a small account genuinely engaged with the Pokémon TCG comes before a large but off-topic audience.
When do I get paid?
A statement is sent at the start of each month. As soon as your balance reaches €20, you issue your invoice and the transfer goes out within 30 days. Below €20, the balance rolls over to the following month.
How is my 20% commission calculated?
We start with subscription payments attributed to your account, then deduct VAT, Apple or Google fees, refunds and chargebacks. You receive 20% of the remaining net revenue, including eligible renewals.
Is my iPhone audience tracked?
On the web and on Android, your link fills in your code automatically. On iPhone, the App Store does not pass the install source along: your code has to be entered by hand in the app, within 7 days of the account being created. That is a platform limit, the same for every affiliate programme — which is why it pays to say your code out loud and show it on screen.
Can I combine this with other partnerships?
Yes. The programme is not exclusive: you can promote PokéItem alongside other brands, as long as your content stays honest and the promotional nature of your posts is clearly disclosed.
Do I have to disclose the partnership?
Yes. It is a legal requirement in France and across the EU. A clear disclosure such as “affiliate link” or “paid partnership” must appear in your video, description or post.
I live outside France, can I join?
Yes, provided you have a business able to issue an invoice and a bank account in its name. For transfers outside the SEPA zone, bank fees are at your expense.
