In short
PokéItem is a French-built app for collecting Pokémon TCG and One Piece Card Game cards, available on iOS, Android and the web. PokéItem identifies a card, or a whole binder page, from a photo, organises the collection by card language and shows two euro prices for every card: the lowest Cardmarket "Near Mint" listing in the card's own language, and the PokéItem index, an estimate computed from Cardmarket, eBay sales and TCGplayer, with a confidence level. For Japanese cards, PokéItem shows the PokéItem index and eBay sales. Prices are updated every 24 hours.
FAQ
Everything you need to know about PokéItem.
Yes, PokéItem has a full free tier: up to 1,000 cards and 10 sealed items in your collection, 20 scans per month and access to the complete catalogue with European market prices. For an unlimited experience, the Premium subscription comes in several plans (from €2.99/week, €5.99/month or €49.99/year) with a free trial of up to 7 days. A Lifetime option is also available at €159.99 as a one-off payment.
Premium unlocks an unlimited card collection, unlimited sealed items, unlimited scans, whole-binder-page scanning (beta), messaging between collectors, the Collection Analysis page and the chart tracking your portfolio over time. Available as Weekly (€2.99/wk), Monthly (€5.99/mo), Annual (€49.99/yr, i.e. €4.17/mo) or Lifetime (€159.99, one-off payment). A second tier, Premium+, adds multi-TCG mode and raises binder-page scanning to 30 pages a month: €4.99/wk, €8.99/mo, €79.99/yr (i.e. €6.67/mo) or €249.99 for lifetime access. Free trials are the same as on Premium.
The subscription has no commitment and can be cancelled at any time from your profile, under "Manage my subscription". You keep Premium access until the end of the current period.
PokéItem covers two broad categories. Individual cards: every expansion from every block, from Wizards of the Coast (Base Set, 1999) through to the Mega Evolution series — over 100 expansions, in six card languages (French, English, Italian, German, Spanish and Japanese). Sealed items: boosters, displays, ETBs, collection boxes, UPCs, tins, bundles, tripacks, duopacks, theme decks and trainer kits. You can also record your graded cards. Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, Thai and Indonesian are in the works.
Yes. The One Piece Card Game is open inside PokéItem on the Premium+ tier: same catalogue, same scanner, same binder and same prices as the Pokémon TCG, with French, English and Japanese language tabs. You switch it on game by game from Settings → Games. The Pokémon TCG stays included on every plan, the free one included. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound and Star Wars: Unlimited appear in the same picker with a “Coming soon” badge and will open as they go live.
Pokémon cards are handled in six languages: French, English, Japanese, Italian, German and Spanish. Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, Thai and Indonesian are in the works. The One Piece Card Game is handled in French, English and Japanese. Each card is tracked on the market of its own language, and PokéItem groups your sets by language to value the whole collection down to the cent.
Prices come from several cross-referenced sources rather than just one: the lowest Cardmarket "Near Mint" listing in the card's own language, the latest completed eBay sales, and the PokéItem index — our reference price computed from Cardmarket, eBay and TCGplayer and shown with its confidence level. Prices are updated every 24 hours. Cards are also valued by condition, from Near Mint to Poor. Your collection's value is calculated automatically, and the evolution chart (Premium) shows how your portfolio moves over time. You can report an incorrect price in one tap from any card page.
The fastest way is the scanner: photograph the card and it is identified along with its rarity and language. Premium members can scan a whole binder page at once (beta), 10 pages a month, and 30 with Premium+. Otherwise, for sealed products browse the catalogue by series from the Binder section and tap a product to add it with your purchase price and quantity; for cards, use the Collection section and add each copy you own (normal or reverse).
Yes. PokéItem is available as a native app on iOS and Android, and as a web version in the browser, with the same account and the same collection everywhere. The mobile app also works offline: your collection stays browsable with no network, and additions sync when the connection returns — handy at a convention or in a shop.
Yes, since version 1.2.0 (August 2026). Every collector gets a public profile with a showcase (their four best cards), their binder and their statistics. You can follow other collectors, see their new finds in a live activity feed and send them a "Poké" to say hello. You stay in control: a profile can be switched to private, and your collection's values can be hidden independently of everything else. Social features are restricted to ages 15 and up, messaging to 16 and up.
Yes, on the Marketplace, since version 1.2.0. You list your cards and sealed products for sale and buy other collectors'. Every listing shows where it sits against the market price, a "For me" filter surfaces only the cards you are missing or have wishlisted, and the community can vote on whether a listing looks legitimate. PokéItem takes no commission and does not handle payment: the Marketplace connects people, the transaction stays between collectors. Every listing photo goes through automated moderation before going live.
Yes. The shop directory lists physical card shops with their opening hours, an open/closed status computed live in the shop's own time zone, and directions in one tap. If you run a shop, you can claim your listing. For conversations, messaging (included with Premium) connects two collectors who follow each other: reactions, replies, read receipts and card mentions inside the thread. It is restricted to ages 16 and up, with built-in anti-scam guardrails, and every report is handled within 24 hours.
