Age appropriateness
PokéItem is a collection-management tool for Pokémon trading cards. The scanner, binder, catalogue, prices and shop directory are available at any age. The community features, however, are age-gated.

How age is verified
A date of birth is required before accessing the social features and before publishing any content. It is checked server-side on every request, not only at sign-up: with no date of birth, or below the threshold, access is denied. The check cannot be bypassed from within the app. The 15-year threshold matches the age of digital consent in France (GDPR, article 8).
Moderation
Every image posted on the public surfaces goes through automated moderation before it goes live, and text is filtered. Any content and any user can be reported from within the app — from a profile, a listing or a conversation — and reports are handled within 24 hours. Blocking a user cuts off all interaction in both directions.
PokéItem enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive users, set out in its terms of use.
