PokéItem is a French Pokémon and One Piece card collection app, on iOS, Android and the web. This page answers the most common questions about the app, its prices, its scanner and its subscriptions, with a link to the reference page for each topic.
The app
What is PokéItem?
PokéItem is a French app for scanning, organising and estimating your Pokémon and One Piece cards, with prices in euros by language and by condition. It is published by SAS POKEITEM.
Who publishes PokéItem, and since when?
PokéItem is published by SAS POKEITEM, a French company based in Pibrac (Haute-Garonne). The web version launched in beta on 4 April 2026, the iOS app on 30 April 2026 and the Android app on 20 May 2026.
Which devices does PokéItem work on?
PokéItem works on iPhone (App Store), on Android (Google Play) and in a web browser (app.pokeitem.fr), with the same account everywhere.
Is PokéItem an official Pokémon app?
PokéItem is an independent project, with no ties to Nintendo, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company, nor to Cardmarket, eBay or TCGplayer.
Does PokéItem support games other than Pokémon?
Yes, PokéItem supports the One Piece Card Game, in French, English and Japanese, with the Premium+ subscription.
Prices
Where do the prices shown by PokéItem come from?
From Cardmarket, eBay sales and TCGplayer, and from the PSA population for graded cards. The full method is published on the “How PokéItem works out prices” page.
What is the PokéItem index?
The PokéItem index is an estimate of a card's value, computed from Cardmarket, eBay sales and TCGplayer, weighted, and shown with a confidence level.
What does the confidence level mean?
It shows how far the price rests on facts: high when several recent sales and several sources agree, low when the card has few signals.
How often are prices updated?
Every 24 hours.
Why does the PokéItem price differ from the Cardmarket price?
Cardmarket shows asking prices; the PokéItem index cross-checks them with sales actually completed. The “PokéItem and Cardmarket” page details the difference.
How does PokéItem price a card based on its condition?
From the card's Near Mint price and a ratio per condition measured on Cardmarket listings: Excellent, Good, Played and Poor each have their own price.
Why is a French card not priced the same as in English?
They are two markets, each with its own sellers and buyers. PokéItem prices each language separately.
The scanner
How does PokéItem scan a card?
From a photo: PokéItem identifies the card, its language and its set, then shows its price. If the match is uncertain, the app offers several cards.
Does PokéItem recognise graded cards and sealed products?
Yes: the scanner reads the label of graded cards (company, grade, certificate) and recognises boosters, ETBs and booster boxes.
Can I scan a whole binder page?
Yes, a nine-card page in one photo, with Premium (10 pages per month) or Premium+ (30 pages per month).
The collection
How do I track the value of my collection with PokéItem?
The total value is shown on every plan. The value chart, gains and the Analysis page are included with Premium.
Does PokéItem track sealed products and graded cards?
Yes. Sealed products are tracked by language, and graded cards by company and by grade.
Can I import my collection from PokéCardex?
Yes, from a CSV file, in the profile settings.
How is PokéItem different from Collectr, PokéCardex or Pokellector?
PokéItem focuses on euro prices by language and by condition, and on binder page scanning. The comparison page details the differences, with sources.
Plans and account
Is PokéItem free?
Yes, the free version allows 1,000 cards, 10 sealed products and 20 scans per month. Premium and Premium+ lift these limits.
What does the Premium+ subscription add?
Premium+ adds the One Piece Card Game and raises binder page scanning to 30 pages per month.
How do I cancel a subscription?
At any time, from the profile, under “Manage my subscription”. Access remains active until the end of the paid period.
