PokéItem 1.2.1: One Piece Card Game and Quests Arrive

PokéItem is a French card collection management app available on iOS, Android and on the web. Until now it covered the Pokémon TCG: catalogue, scanner, binders, market prices, Market, collector network. With version 1.2.1 it covers a second game. The One Piece Card Game joins the app with the same catalogue, the same binder, the same market prices and the same scanner. And collection tracking becomes a game: Quests, Trainer Level and the Season 1 leaderboard all open at the same time.

Three weeks after 1.2.0, which brought the network, the Market and TCG shops. The pace is part of the project: a collection app that improves every few weeks, not every year.

PokéItem 1.2.1 at a glance

As always, all these features share the same collection, the same prices and the same account.

1. The One Piece Card Game joins PokéItem

The game selector sits in the app header. One tap and everything switches: the catalogue, the binder, sealed products, prices, the scanner and even the interface theme, which turns green.

The One Piece Card Game is tracked in French, English and Japanese. Each card is valued on the market for its own language, and sets are sorted by language, exactly like Pokémon cards. Sealed products carry their official Bandai names and French visuals.

The scanner recognises One Piece cards the same way it recognises Pokémon cards, with the same celebration after a successful scan and the official set logo. Different printings of the same number are distinguished: the binder, badge and scanner all know which one you own.

For the collector who follows both games, the benefit is concrete: one collection, one valuation, one account. Switching does not duplicate anything. It just changes the catalogue.

2. Premium+: the tier that unlocks other TCGs

The Pokémon TCG stays included in every plan, including the free version. Premium+ is the tier that unlocks other games:

• the One Piece Card Game, with its catalogue, binder, sealed products, prices and scanner;
• upcoming games as they open. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound and Star Wars: Unlimited already appear in the selector with a "coming soon" badge;
• 30 binder page scans per month instead of 10.

Everything included in Premium is included in Premium+, without exception.

Pricing: 4.99 EUR per week, 8.99 EUR per month, 79.99 EUR per year (6.67 EUR per month) or 249.99 EUR for lifetime access. The free trial is the same as on Premium: 7 days on the annual plan, 3 days on the monthly and weekly plans. A Premium subscriber upgrading to Premium+ goes through a prorated exchange based on what they have left.

Premium itself does not change: 2.99 EUR per week, 5.99 EUR per month, 49.99 EUR per year, 159.99 EUR for lifetime access.

3. Quests, Trainer Level and Season 1

The Quests tab opens from the Social section, on the web and on mobile. Every collector action earns experience points: the daily login, the scan of the day, referring a friend, Network quests (following a trainer, gaining a follower, posting in the feed), and collection milestones in cards and sealed products.

Those XP feed two separate counters, and this is important to understand:

• lifetime XP determines your Trainer Level, from level 1 to level 100. It never resets;
• season XP feeds the leaderboard, and that alone determines the prizes. It resets to zero at the start of each new season.

Season 1 runs until 30 November

Season 1 opened on 1 September 2026 and closes on 30 November 2026 at 23:59 (Paris time). At close, the 50 participants with the most season XP win a prize, for a total prize pool of around 980 EUR:

In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker is chronological: whoever reached the score first ranks higher.

Entry is free, and keeping it that way is a design choice. A PokéItem account is free, and the main XP sources are too. The scan of the day in particular comes with a free backup scan every day: even after your monthly scan allowance runs out, and with no subscription at all, you can keep your streak going. One detail worth knowing to avoid surprises: Network quests must be claimed manually, and it is the claim date that assigns the XP to a season. A follower gained before the season opened still counts, as long as you claim the quest during the season.

4. The Market, rebuilt into five sections

The Market moves from a single list to five sections visible in the tab bar:

• Listings - cards and sealed products listed for sale by other trainers;
• TCG Shops - a directory of physical stores, with opening hours, live open or closed status and directions;
• Online Shops - online stores;
• Amazon - a selection of sealed products, with an invitation system that notifies you when an invitation opens on an item;
• Extension - the browser extension, announced as coming soon.

The display has been densified: twice as many listings on screen, plus filters by game and by language that did not exist before. Each listing still shows its position relative to the market price, "Excellent price", "Good price", "Attractive price", with the gap shown in figures against the market rate and eBay. The "For me" filter shows only cards you are missing or have on your wish list.

Reporting a counterfeit now actually goes somewhere: the report reaches moderation, and a flagged listing is reviewed without waiting for three reports. PokéItem connects collectors directly, with no commission or integrated payment, unlike Cardmarket, where the platform handles and oversees the transaction.

5. The MasterSet view: one tile per copy

Until now, a set was read card by card: a ticked box meant "I have it", without saying how many copies or in which finishes. The MasterSet view changes the unit of measurement: each copy gets its own tile. Normal cards, reverses, holos and stamped cards are counted separately, and the progress bar finally tells the truth about what you still need to complete the set. "115 / 214 copies owned" rather than a percentage of cards.

A "+" button on each card adds it directly to your collection with its condition, without opening the card page. And the My Copies screen tracks each copy individually: purchase price, condition, listing, removal. Your collection reads like a portfolio, line by line.

Printable checklists and filters by rarity, type and stamp remain available above the grid.

6. The social feed translates itself

The PokéItem Network brings together collectors from six countries. Since 1.2.1, posts and comments arrive in your language, translated automatically: a post written in Japanese reads in English, with no action needed. This is the feature that makes the feed genuinely international rather than just multilingual side by side.

Two other social additions: up to 2 photos per post, and the list of your followers visible on your profile.

7. A search that actually finds things

Search received several fixes that change how you use it day to day:

• you can search for a card by its nickname, not just its official name;
• "50/88" now finds the right card. A collector number is recognised as such;
• the card page lets you switch the language of the name, illustration and prices without leaving the page.

Also in this update

• Amazon invitations: get notified when an invitation opens on a sealed product;
• 2021 McDonald's holo prices: the holo premium is now applied, and the binder distinguishes the holo version from the non-holo;
• Finish notifications: when a set gains a new finish, the owners affected are notified;
• "Home" exit from the successful scan screen, so you are no longer stuck in the scanner.

What this update fixes

• Games and languages no longer mix: binder, wish list, duplicates, search and home all follow the active game and language;
• Prices are more reliable, and the 1st Edition scale has been corrected;
• Your profile photo no longer reloads on every screen;
• The back gesture closes the modal instead of leaving the page;
• Full-screen zoom actually enlarges the image;
• Chat: the keyboard, text selection on iOS and the composer are fixed;
• Changing your subscription plan no longer removes the tier you already had;
• The app is faster, smoother and more stable.

Why this version changes what PokéItem is

Up to 1.2.1, PokéItem was a Pokémon app. It is becoming a collection app, with the Pokémon TCG as its first game and the One Piece Card Game as its second. The difference is not cosmetic: the catalogue, the pricing engine, the scanner, the binder and the Market have all been made multi-game, which means the third game will cost far less to open than the second did.

The other change is the relationship with time. A collection is built over years, and the app had no reason to bring you back on a Tuesday evening. Quests and Seasons create that rhythm: a streak to keep, a level to climb, a leaderboard that closes every three months.
